UP Police Stall Wins Award at International Trade Show for Innovation & Engagement

The Uttar Pradesh Police was recognized for excellence in presentation and public engagement at the third edition of the UP International Trade Show (UPITS), which concluded in Gautam Buddh Nagar on Sunday.

The event, jointly organized by the Uttar Pradesh government and the India Exposition Mart, saw wide participation from multiple sectors. Under the leadership of DGP Rajeev Krishna, UP Police set up a comprehensive joint stall in Hall No. 4, highlighting:

  • Citizen-centric initiatives

  • Technological advancements

  • Modern policing models aimed at strengthening safety and public trust

Organizers evaluated all 15 halls of the trade show, shortlisting the top three stalls from each based on size, setup, ambience, and visitor footfall. The UP Police stall from Hall No. 4 emerged among the winners.

The award was formally presented to Superintendent of Police, UP-112, Nidhi Sonkar by cabinet ministers Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ (Industrial Development, Export Promotion, NRI Investment) and Rakesh Sachan.

The ceremony also witnessed the presence of Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary (Sports & Youth Welfare, MSME & Export Promotion, Khadi & Village Industries, Vocational Education & Skill Development, Govt of UP), along with other senior officials and dignitaries.

This recognition reflects UP Police’s growing focus on technology-driven, citizen-first policing.
