CSBC Announces 4,128 Bihar Police Constable Vacancies; Applications Open from Oct 6

The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC), Bihar has released a notification for 4,128 constable vacancies across multiple categories. Applications will open on October 6, 2025, through the official website csbc.bihar.gov.in, and the deadline for submission is November 5, 2025.

The recruitment drive includes:

• 1,603 posts of Alcohol Prohibition Constable (Level 3 pay scale: ₹21,700–₹69,100)

• 2,417 posts of Chamberlain (Level 3 pay scale: ₹21,700–₹69,100)

• 108 posts of Mobile Squad Constable (Level 2 pay scale)

Selection Process

1. Written Examination:

   • OMR-based, 2 hours, 100 questions

   • Subjects: Hindi, English, Mathematics, Social Science, Science, General Knowledge & Current Affairs

   • Class 10 level; 1 mark per question

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

   • Includes running, high jump, and shot put

   • Mandatory to clear all tests to proceed

3. Final Merit List:

   • Prepared on the basis of PET performance

4. Document Verification:

   • Valid ID, Intermediate exam certificate, marksheet, caste certificate, and for mobile squad applicants, a driving license
